Context
The Dynabuy group runs a network of business clubs across France. Génération Internet, the agency I worked for, was in charge of its Next.js site, clubsdaffaires.fr.
The problem
Start from scratch, ship to production and hold Core Web Vitals on a content-rich site wired to the client’s internal API.
What I did
- About 90% of the interface, from Adobe XD designs to React components.
- Full migration of the codebase to TypeScript.
- Integration of the internal REST API.
- Per-page rendering strategy and Core Web Vitals optimisation.
Architecture & technical choices
- 01
TypeScript everywhere
Migrated the whole codebase to TypeScript to make the internal API contracts and shared component props reliable.
- 02
From design to component
Adobe XD designs were broken down into reusable React components, wired to the internal API rather than hard-coded content.
- 03
The right rendering in the right place
SSG for stable pages, SSR for data-dependent ones, CSR for interactive parts, with a constant eye on Core Web Vitals.
