02/Method

How I work

Since 2025 I have been building with AI agents (Claude Code). It is a real speed-up, as long as I stay in control of what matters.

AI writes a large share of the code. Architecture, review, testing and ownership of what goes to production stay with me.
  1. 01

    Design

    I set the architecture, the data model and the contracts (types, Zod schemas) before the first line of code. Those are the choices that are expensive to undo.

  2. 02

    Direct

    I break the work into bounded tasks and direct Claude Code agents with precise specs. AI speeds up the writing; it does not decide the architecture.

  3. 03

    Review

    I review diffs, line by line on sensitive areas (authentication, payments, data), which also go through a dedicated security review before they are merged.

    Test

    Unit and integration tests with Vitest, GitHub Actions CI against a real PostgreSQL database, Playwright when the UI calls for it.

    Ship

    Docker, Caddy, encrypted backups and a health endpoint on a VPS, or Vercel when it is the right tool. I stay accountable for what runs.
