Context
Studio Œillet is my web studio for shops and craftspeople around Guérande. The site had to feel trustworthy and load fast.
The problem
A small-business site that stands out visually without giving up performance or local search.
Architecture & technical choices
- 01
Astro, no client framework
Static pages, native CSS and a few targeted scripts: the return-on-investment calculator is plain JavaScript.
- 02
Structured local SEO
ProfessionalService and FAQPage JSON-LD, a sitemap, and an Open Graph image generated by a script at build time.
- 03
A strict photo pipeline
The build fails if a photo has no credit. Outputs are responsive AVIF and WebP.
- 04
A generative 404
The error page draws a generated salt-marsh grid with Canvas 2D, in line with the site’s art direction.
